How to read the results
Each card is one real place: name, street address, rating, and how far it is from the area you named. The card title links out to the place itself. Under the map you'll see a map coverage line naming any match that couldn't be pinned, and under the list a coverage line saying whether you're seeing every match or just the first batch. Both are printed exactly as the search reports them.
Why some places aren't pinned
A listing can exist without usable coordinates — new businesses, places inside malls or airports, or addresses the geocoder can't resolve. Those still appear in the list, and the map coverage line names them so you know what's missing from the map rather than guessing.
Being more specific helps
"Near" can be a city, a neighborhood, an intersection, or a landmark — narrower areas give shorter distances and fewer irrelevant matches. "What" can carry qualities like open late, outdoor seating, or wheelchair accessible; those get matched against the listing text where it's available.
